Out of a lifelong dream to “design great homes and places of business for great families and business owners”, and with overwhelming support of my amazing wife and family, I decided to start Diamond F Co in March of 2022.

Meet Courtney Faas, President

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a love of designing and building things, especially custom homes.

At an early age, while most of my friends were looking through comic books and Sports Illustrated, I spent hours at Lowe’s and Home Depot, paging through design books, looking at different house designs and layouts. I knew even then that one day I wanted to build homes that truly made a difference

Why I Build

A home is more than a building it’s an extension of your family. It should be comfortable, functional, and a reflection of your personality and lifestyle. That same level of care now extends to the business owners we serve, helping them bring their dreams to life as well.

A Foundation in Construction and Engineering

I grew up around both residential and industrial construction, learning early how to build and manage projects and just as importantly, how not to.
While I once dreamed of being an architect, life led me to mechanical engineering. Over the years I’ve held engineering and project management roles supporting multimillion‑dollar projects in the petrochemical industry. Those experiences shaped me as a project manager and strengthened my focus on efficiency, quality, and teamwork.

A Passion for Building Science

Even while working in engineering, my passion for building never faded. I’ve built workshops, custom gardens, and taken on countless projects, all while deepening my knowledge of building science and high‑efficiency construction methods.

I believe a well‑designed building envelope, proper water management, indoor air quality, and high‑quality finishes all contribute to a healthier, more comfortable life. Your home or business isn’t just where you live or work—it’s a foundation for your well‑being.

Our Approach & What Makes Us Different

Over the years, I’ve helped design and build homes, commercial buildings, and even custom furniture.
Those experiences taught me what makes a design not only beautiful but also functional—and how to plan a project so it supports the craftsmanship of everyone involved.

When we move into the construction phase, my approach is different from most. I take the time to get to know the families and business owners I work with. I want to understand what you truly want your space to do for you not just how many rooms you need, but how you want to live and work in them, and how the flow of those spaces should feel.

Designing and building a home or business isn’t easy, but it can be fun and rewarding when we collaborate. That’s the experience I strive to create with every project.
