Some of the key services we offer:

- Project Plan and Design Development

We start with an introductory intake meeting to become familiar with our clients, determining their wants and needs, develop a list of project goals and existing parameters. We also gather up sample drawings or pictures along with site information (if it exists). From there we start to develop out the high level layout of the project and gather any additional information along with a site visit and review of jurisdictional requirements (city, county, HOA, etc.).

Taking this information, we work through a series of designs from initial layouts to final design, stopping at various hold points for review meetings with the clients. If necessary, we work with any required Engineering and Architectural firms to ensure all required documentation is included in the plan set. We also work with any contractors that are predetermined to ensure the final product is buildable, within the determined budget and to the highest quality and efficiency.

In the end, clients are presented with not only a complete design package (including renderings and virtual walkthroughs) but also a complete set of selections and specifications to ensure the full scope of work is captured

- Project Management/General Contractor

Providing transparent expectations throughout the build process allows clients to be more in control of the budget, schedule, and overall outcome of the project. DFCo brings together all of the crafts and building professionals into a complete construction team. We manage the project from design through construction completion.

Utilizing construction management practices and software, we provide schedules, track spending and forecasting, and document project information. We also ensure the client is included in all necessary decisions and given adequate progress updates.

These items are available to both the clients and contractors to ensure transparency as well as tracking progress.

- Construction Consulting

For clients that are looking to contract their own work or looking for additional assistance with an on-going project.

We provide the same offering listed in our Project Management services, as requested by the client. We can provide singular consultations or develop hold/routine inspection points to help review project progress and ensure the highest level of quality and craftsmanship is achieved.

If requested, we can also work with client’s existing contractors to ensure any modifications are facilitated properly. We ensure to not only work on behalf of the client but also be a liaison between the contractor and client as well. We feel that we have developed a good process for building up a team approach to achieve a common project goal between both parties.
